The 193-EC1CB is an electronic overload relay. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley and is part of the Bulletin 193-EC1 series of motor protection relays. This model has an adjustment rating between 5 and 25 amperes. The contactor sizes for this unit are C09 to C23. It features LED indicators to provide relay status and inform the user of a trip. The trip class is adjustable. It features ambient temperature compensation and offers true RMS current sensing in the range of 20 to 250 Hz. This relay is compatible with single-phase as well as three-phase motors and offers user-programmable trip and warning settings. This relay features integrated I/O in the form of two inputs and one output available. Series B relays have node address switches. The module offers diagnostic functions including the history of the last five trips and warnings. A test and reset button are also built-in. The relay offers adjustable phase loss protection, as well as user-programmable stall protection for the connected motor. The relay also protects in case of overcurrent as a result of motor jamming or undercurrent situations that can potentially damage the motor. This overload relay also supports the DeviceNet network and serves as a Group 2 “slave only” device. It is tested for ODVA Conformance. The DeviceNet can be used for current monitoring and supports individual phase currents, average current, thermal capacity, and current imbalance monitoring. This module has an approximate weight of 1.77 pounds (0.80 kilograms) and has dimensions of 45 x 159.3 x 115 millimeters.
