The 194R-J30-1753 is a fused and non-fused disconnected switch from the 194R family. This switching device has a conditioned rated short-circuit current rating of 200-kilo amperes, a rated permanent current rating of 30 amperes, a rated operating power of 18.5 kilowatts at 400 volts AC, a maximum rated operation voltage of 690 volts AC, and a pole number of three (3). This package does not have a status indicator.

The 194R-J30-1753 switch is UL Class J and CSA grade HRCI J. This module has been approved by CCC, CE, KC, and UL. It also has sizes 20 - 1250 A IEC and 20 - 800 A UL. This switch has a touch-safe design with OSHA padlocking. It can also be operated from the front or the side. For applications needing an at-motor disconnecting mechanism, the 194R-J30-1753 long rotational handle disconnect safety switch is available in thermoplastic, colored metal, and stainless-steel enclosures. On the front, it features an IP 20 rating.

It operates at temperatures ranging from -20 and +60 °C and stores at temperatures ranging from -40 to +65 °C. The mechanical life of this switch is 10,000 operations. This switching unit comes standard with operating handles, multi-length shafts, auxiliary connections, terminal covers, and an NFPA 79 internal handle with the shaft. Its handle is black, but it can also be red or yellow, and it comes in pad-lockable versions. The optimum fuse cutoff current for each disconnecting switch should not be exceeded. This switching device also has a blade style for bolted connections, as well as an IEC fuse type that is fuse-link with blade contacts.
