The Kinetix 5500 drives use internal solid-state motor short-circuit protection and, when protected by suitable branch circuit protection, are rated for use on a circuit capable of delivering up to 200,000 A (fuses) and 65,000 A (circuit breakers). In standalone Drive systems of 2198-H008-RES Kinetix 5500, the UL (Underwriters' Laboratories) applications in the single phase Bussmann Fuses Category has a number KTK-R-5 and a molded case CB category no. 140U-D6D2-B20and for the three phases, the Bussmann fuses category no is KTK-R-7 with Molded Case CB Category No. 140U-D6D3-B60. IEC (non-UL) Applications for single phase DIN gG Fuses 6 Amps (max), Molded Case CB Category No. 140U-D6D2-B20 and three phase DIN gG Fuses 6 Amps (max), Molded Case CB Category No. 140U-D6D3-B60. In Shared DC (common-bus) drive system’s Input Power UL Circuit-protection Specifications, the three-phase configuration of 240/480V is applicable to UL applications of the Bussmann fuses category no is KTK-R-10. IEC (non-UL) Applications for three phase DIN gG Fuses 10 Amps (max). Shared AC Drive system, the three-phase configuration of 240/480V is applicable to UL applications of the Bussmann fuses category no is KTK-R-15 for 2-5 axes. In the shared AC drive system’s Input power IEC (non-UL) circuit protection specification is applicable to DIN gG Fuses maximum 16 Amps for 2-5 axes. Shared AC/DC and Hybrid System’s Input Power UL Circuit-protection Specifications has Bussmann Fuse of Category No. KTK-R-15 for 2-4 Axes while KTK-R-20 for 6-8 axes. Hybrid System’s Input Power IEC (non-UL) Circuit-protection Specifications has DIN gG Fuses of a maximum of 16 Amps for 2-5Axes.
