The Allen-Bradley 2198-P208 comes with integrated solid-state short circuit protection. It protects drives against circuit failures. This direct current Bus power supply is ideal for the Kinetix 5700 servo drives. It comes with a three-phase 324 to 528 volts (480 volts nominal) root mean square AC input voltage with a 47 to 63-hertz frequency. Coming with a module width of 85 millimeters, the Allen-Bradley 2198-P208 features 73.1 amperes of main alternate current input current, 33 amperes Max inrush (0-peak) current, and a 219.2 amperes peak AC input current. Its continuous and peak output current is 69.2 amperes and 207.6 amperes, respectively. When it comes to continuous and peak power output, the Allen-Bradley 2198-P208 comes with a rating of 46 kilowatts and 138 kilowatts, respectively. The internal shunt resistance and shunt power on the Allen-Bradley 2198-P208 are 13.5 Ohms and 200 W, respectively. This DC power supply module has 99% efficiency, with 2050 µF internal capacitance and 453 J capacitive energy absorption. As the Allen-Bradley 2198-P208 comes with an innovative snap-fit feature, it can be assembled without the need for any special tools. Users can assemble and configure this drive without any external help. To increase power output to the drive’s single-axis and dual-axis inverters, additional power supply modules can be attached to it. This DC bus power supply module from Allen-Bradley provides protections against bus overvoltage and short circuits. A bus overvoltage will occur when outputs equal 460 VDC and 832 VDC at nominal AC inputs of 240 V and 480 V, respectively.
