Part number 42SRP-6004-QD is a photoelectric sensor device, manufactured by Allen Bradley. It is part of the PHOTOSWITCH Series 6000 product series, known for providing reliable general purpose in a compact package. The unit sensing beam is infrared type with size of 880 nanometers. It operates with supply voltage in the range of 20 to 132 volts AC/DC and has a current consumption of maximum 35 milliamperes. The sensor comes with an incorporated clutch protected, four turn potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment. The device housing is manufactured from Noryl material, and its lens is manufactured from acrylic material. 

The maximum sensing distance is of 780 millimeters, or 30 inches, and the sensor has a response time of 12 milliseconds with an AC input or 5 milliseconds with a DC input. The output type is Sink (NPN) Power MOSFET and its connection end is type Micro QD.  This sensor output mode is light operating; it is activated in the presence of light. The device has an output LED indicator, which when illuminated turns red. It is certified for operating in environment class IP67, NEMA 3, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. For proper operation, the sensor should be installed on a stable surface without excessive vibrations. The sensor is UL listed, CSA approved, CE marked, and has a vibration rating that meets or exceeds the requirements of IEC 60947-5-2 regulation. Its operating temperature should remain within the range of -40 to 56 degrees Celsius, or the equivalent of -40 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
