Part number 42SRU-6205 is a Series 6000 photoelectric sensor with a polarized retroreflective sensing mode. It was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This sensor is designed for dark operating mode. It has a visible red 660 nm emitter LED sensing beam and a red LED indicator. This sensor has an end sensing position with a minimum sensing distance of 50.8 millimeters, or 2 inches, and a maximum sensing distance of 3 meters, or the equivalent of 9.8 feet, with a 76-millimeter (3-inch) reflector. The Allen Bradley 42SRU-6205 photoelectric sensor has an operating voltage of 20 to 132 volts AC/DC at a frequency range of 50 to 60 hertz. The supply current rating of this device is 1.2 volt-amperes. This photoelectric sensor has an output type of Power MOSFET with a current rating of 300 milliamperes AC/DC. The response time for this device is twelve (12) milliseconds for an alternating current (AC) input, as well as five (5) milliseconds for a direct current (DC) input. The maximum leakage current of this product is one (1) microampere. The sensor’s connection type is specified as a 3-meter, or 9.8-foot, connection cable.
