This module, the 440N-G02098, was designed and manufactured by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This device is a safety switch. Safety switches are usually used to open and close circuits as a means of disconnecting for service entry or to facilitate lock-out/tag-out procedures for motors and other critical power system equipment. This Allen Bradley safety switch module is an actuated safety switch, and it has two (2) normally closed (NC) externally fused and non-resettable safety contacts, along with one (1) normally open (NO) auxiliary contact. The safety contact switching capability of this device is rated at two hundred and fifty (250) volts alternating current (AC) with a rated current of two (2) amperes maximum. 

The Allen Bradley 440N-G02098 safety switch has an enclosure with an Ingress Protection rating of IP67 and a NEMA rating of NEMA 6P.  In addition to that, this module by Allen Bradley was designed with a six (6)-pin Micro QD connection. This device is capable of withstanding a shock rated up to fifty (50) G. Additionally, it can withstand a vibration rated up to 7 G at a frequency of 50 to 200 hertz. When operating this Allen Bradley safety switch, the temperature of the area surrounding this device should range from -10 degrees Celsius to +55 degrees Celsius, or the equivalent range off +14 degrees Fahrenheit to +131 degrees Fahrenheit. Furthermore, the relative humidity of the surrounding area should have levels that range from 5 percent to 95 percent. This device has an approximate weight of 85 grams, or 0.19 pounds.
