The 440N-G02149 module is a Ferrogard non-contact switch designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This switch provides users with a reliable and tolerant to misalignment non-contact option. It enables an action where the operation of the magnetic actuator being withdrawn from the switch unlocks the normally closed (N.C.) safety contacts, that are meant to isolate control power toward a machine primary control. This Allen-Bradley non-contact switch is sealed and completely secured in accordance with the IP68 standards or NEMA 6P standards. This allows this Allen-Bradley unit to be able to function in wet conditions. Being a part of Ferrogard, it includes shielded safety contacts to guarantee that it does not break in a dangerous situation. Auxiliary signal connectors are also included to show the machine and guard status. This module, just like all the other Ferrogard modules, contains integrated non-configurable overload protection on the safety contact. The certifications that this Allen-Bradley unit holds include CE marked applicable directives and cULus listed. This module's connection is eight (8) pin micro while it is of FRS 21 GD2 type. Moreover, this unit incorporates a relative humidity of five (5) to ninety-five (95) percent and an operating temperature of negative twenty-five (-25) degrees Celsius to one hundred and twenty-five (125) degrees Celsius. In addition to that, the shock rating of this module is thirty (30) g while its enclosure type is NEMA 6P. This non-contact actuation unit by Allen-Bradley comes in a stainless steel housing and incorporates a high switching current of up to two (2) amperes alternating current (AC).
