The 505-AOD is a full voltage reversing starter. It was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This starter is equipped with an open-type enclosure. The overload relays of this device are made of Eutectic Alloy. The continuous current rating of this reversing motor starter unit is nine (9) amperes. There are three (3) poles on this starter, and it is also a three (3)-phase unit. In addition to that, its NEMA size is zero (0). As far as its power requirements are concerned, the coil voltage range of this starter is one hundred and ten (110) to one hundred and twenty (120) Volts AC at a frequency range of fifty (50) to sixty (60) hertz. The rated current of this device is eighteen (18) amperes at a voltage rating of one hundred and twenty (120) volts AC, three-phase. The voltage rating of this device is six hundred (600) Volts. Additionally, the standard operating temperature of this device is negative thirteen (-13) to one hundred and forty-nine (149) degrees Fahrenheit. Users should maintain this ambient temperature rating to avoid system or component level faults induced by excessive climate conditions. This device comes with a saddle wire clip for the connecting type. This starter has a load capacity of twenty (20). The estimated mechanical life cycle of this Allen Bradley full voltage reversing starter is ten million (10,000,000) operations. Users should also be aware that there are no change options available in the Bulletin 505 series of products for the 505-AOD.
