Description:

The 5069-IB6F-3W is a 24 Volt discrete fast input module by Allen-Bradley in the Compact 5000 series. It supports 2-wire and 3-wire sensors and offers 6 sinking input channels. It offers up to 4 events that may be triggered by simple counters or any input. It also provides support for pattern matching. It is protected against reverse polarity operation and features an integrated fuse to protect against overloads. A Removable Terminal Block (RTB) is required for input signal wiring. Compatible RTB models are the 5069-RTB18-SCREW and the 5069-RTB18-SPRING.

The 5069-IB6F-3W is a 24 Volt DC fast input module by Allen-Bradley. This module is included in the Compact 5000 I/O series and offers support for 2-wire and 3- wire sensors. The 5069-IB6F-3W is compatible with Logix controllers. The module is intended for use in industrial environments that are classified in the Pollution Level 2 specifications defined by IEC 60664-1. It features a pulse latching function as well as pulse and period measurement. It is equipped with one group of 6 sinking input channels. It offers up to 4 events that may be triggered by simple counters or any input. It also provides support for pattern matching. It is protected against reverse polarity operation and features an integrated fuse to protect against overloads. The module has an operating voltage range rated between 10 Volts and 32 Volts DC. The 5069-IB6F-3W has a 36 Volt overvoltage protection rating. It is a single slot module and is mounted to a DIN rail. Suitable DIN rail specifications are EN50022 - 35 x 7.5 mm (1.38 x 0.30 in.) DIN rail or a unit made out of chromate-passivated steel that has zinc plating. This module uses the DIN rail for earthing to the ground chassis. It is certified for operation without the need for derating at altitudes up to 2000 meters. This module is not intended for use in residential neighborhoods. It may not provide a suitable level of protection against radio signals.
