Components mounted in this enclosure are of standard barrel format suited for mounting on panels with thickness up to 25.4 millimeters.

Part Number 800H-1HVX7 is Allen-Bradley’s Bulletin 800H Hazardous location enclosure base for push buttons of type 7 and 9. Designed for enclosure use, it is designed from copper free die-cast Aluminum bushings and mounting rings (lower than 0.4 percent copper), type 316 stainless steel shafts together with an O-ring seal for additional resistance to corrosion. Components of the pushbutton can be mounted on to a ¾ inch threaded hole of a well-suited enclosure. With suitability for 25.5 mm gauge panels mount, it provides a peculiar locking bracket which is an anti-turn mechanism for keeping the operator firm in place. Additionally, a second way of making each unit tightly fastened to the panel is by knurling the mounting rings at the front of the panel.

Allen-Bradley’s 800H-1HVX7 is a single gang deep model which meets requirements for application for Hazardous gas Class 1, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; Hazardous dust Class 2, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Hazardous Fiber Class 3 locations. In addition, it is not designed for outdoor use, thus a Type 3 rating is available while still maintaining its Type 7 and 9 ethics for enclosures by adding a type 3 sealing flange and a standard approved drain. Several sealing options are available for Part Number 800H-1HVX7 on installation of push button. The use of a flange for sealing eliminates the need for a conduit seal. In addition, sealed switch contact blocks can be used to eliminate the necessity of a conduit seal fitting for a lot of push button applications.
