Part number 800Z-HL1, which was designed and manufactured by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation, is an electronic push button. This device belongs to the Bulletin 800Z series of products. It has a type of 4/13, an ingress protection rating of IP66, zero force flush mounting, and a momentary terminal block. Additionally, it has replacement relays that offers a heavy industrial design. These large industrial gadgets feature an 8-position termination block connector.
This 800Z-HL1 is intended for use in heavy industrial applications that often need compliance with UL, CE, ANSI, and OSHA requirements. It has the biggest curved touch surface in the industry for quick access. Additionally, it has a unique replaceable plug-in output relay that minimizes downtime and extends the life of the device. The zero-force touch buttons on the Bulletin 800Z series of products are sealed to avoid contamination of the internal circuitry by external components.
This zero-force touch button is the first of its kind to blend field-effect sensors and microprocessor technology in an operator interface device. In contrast to conventional pushbuttons, zero-force touch buttons do not need any pressure to operate. Instead, sensors detect an operator’s touch, transforming the contact into an electrical output that triggers activity. The electrical architecture, which has two (2) interconnected capacitive sensors on offset planes, enhances sensitivity and capability for discriminating between a person's hands, even while wearing most industrial gloves and most alien items. The Zero-Force LEDs on the touch button and surrounding area clearly indicate the power, run, and fault states. A fault signal is flashed when the system identifies a large number of potentially hazardous conditions inside an operator's jurisdiction.
