Limit switches are used to determine whether or not an object is present. These switches were initially intended to designate an object's limit of travel. This limit switch is a conventional sealed limit switch with two circuits. The enclosure of this device has a Type 4X, 6P, and 13 rating, with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 67. This Allen Bradley limit switch can also be equipped with an LED, or light emitting diode, indicators as an optional feature. Moreover, this switch is surface-mountable. Its cable entry ports are completely epoxy-sealed, keeping liquids out of the switch's interior components. The operational temperature range of the 802M-AY5 sealed limit switch is 0 to 80 degrees Celsius, which is the equivalent of 32 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a lever actuator and a spring return action mechanism. The 802M-AY5 limit switch has one (1) normally closed (NC) and one (1) normally open (NO) contact arrangement. This switch has been factory sealed and is pre-wired. The 802M-AY5 limit switch created by Allen Bradley also has a maximum travel range of 86 degrees, along with a resetting travel range of 6 degrees. Additionally, this device has an operating travel range of 8 degrees.
