The 802T-NPTP is a plug-in style oil tight limit switching unit that is composed of metal and has a standard energy rating of 10 amperes. It has a rotational lever arm and a conduit entrance. This device has two (2) normally open (NO) auxiliary contacts and two (2) normally closed (NC) safety contacts. This unit can operate within an ambient temperature range of -18 degrees Celsius to +54 degrees Celsius, or the equivalent of 0 degrees Fahrenheit to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition to clockwise and counterclockwise functionality, this limit switch has a snap acting mechanism and a 1/2-inch NPT threading. this limit switch has a maximum operating torque of 0.28 N-m, or the equivalent of 2.5 lb-in, when clockwise. When counterclockwise, however, this device has a maximum operating torque of 0.47 N-m, or 4.2 lb-in. this limit switch has a maximum travel parameter of 75 degrees, as well as a maximum travel angle of 7 degrees to reset contacts. It contains push-type, wobble-type, and whisker-type actions, among others. Under relevant regulations, the product is UL approved, CSA accredited, and CE labeled. The 802T-NPTP is a complete switch unit that includes both the head and the body. In order to avoid an undesired repeat of contact action on the rebound, these switches should be installed in such a manner that the wobbling stick or cat whisker is not deflected beyond the "maximum travel" position. The 802T-NPTP has a rated insulation voltages of 300 volts alternating current (AC) or 600 volts alternating current (AC).
