The Rockwell Automation pressure control model of series 836T-T302J is of piston without seal type. It is designed to satisfy the conventional needs of transport, machine tool, and other heavy-duty industries. The Allen-Bradley 836T pressure control finds application in pneumatic as well as hydraulic systems. The durable actuator is single pole, double throw, two circuit contact block. It is made from copper alloy bellows and therefore it is compatible with a wide variety of working fluids, including air, water, oil, vapor, and several non-corrosive gases and liquids. If the application needs to work with corrosive gases, vapors, and fluids, then Stainless steel alloy 316 is used as an option. The assembly includes a stainless steel piston and cylinder. The same assembly can be used for high pressure coolants and hydraulic fluids as well as water and water based chemicals. The motion has very low friction which offers high performance irrespective of the orientation of the installation. It has a one-of-a-kind lever mechanism that enhances actuator movement, allowing shorter stroke, increasing the bellow's service life. The control settings are user friendly and adjustable over the range of 200 to 3000 psi. They can sustain an occasional surge pressure of 15000 psi and have adjustable differential range of 175 to 400 psi. The typical applications include pneumatic control system and pressurized tanks, over pressure relief on gases or liquid processes, and low pressure warnings for essential coolants and lubricants. It has standard compliance from UL 508, UL 698 (Hazardous location), Ul 1604 (hazardous location), CSA 22.2 No. 14, and NEMA ICS-2.
