The 845H-SJDZ24CRY2 is a size 25 incremental encoder made by Allen-Bradley. This module is included in the Bulletin 845H series of encoders. It is rated for an operating voltage range of 8 volts to 24 volts DC that is unregulated. The unit has a power consumption rating of a maximum of 150 milliamperes. It features an incremental code format with two channels with a zero index. The zero index channel has a gated half cycle. This encoder is mounted using a square flange and has a shaft with a diameter of 3/8 inches. This model has a radial connection on the side and comes without a mating connector. The shaft has a starting and running torque of 2.5 N-cm (3.5 lb-in) and is capable of a slew speed of up to 6000 rotations per minute. The output is provided by a differential line driver that operates on a 5 VDC rating and has an RS-422 connection. The output drive has a capability of 20 milliamperes. This module has a resolution of 2500 PPR on the code disk. The unit is housed in an enclosure that meets NEMA Type 4 and 13 and is built to meet IP66 standards for ingress protection. The approximate shipping weight for this unit is 2 pounds (0.91 kilograms). This module has an operational temperature range of 32 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit (0 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius) and a storage temperature range of -13 degrees to 194 degrees Fahrenheit (-25 degrees to 90 degrees Celsius).
