Part number 889D-R4AC-2 is a cord set from the Bulletin 889D series of products. This device was designed and produced by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. It is used to secure the connections between limit switches, proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, and other field equipment. This assembly comes with a cord/cable with a size of 22 AWG. It is a 4-pin DC cord set with the female connector at one end of the cable. On the other end of the cable is a DC micro M12 connector. This connector is fitted on the cable at a right angle. The female connector has a width of 1.72 inches and a height of 1.78 inches. The cable in this cord set has a yellow jacket. This jacket is oil resistive and made up of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The cable of this assembly can withstand a maximum direct current voltage of 300 volts DC. The cable is color-coded according to IEC standards, and its length is around 6.56 feet (2 meters). This assembly is suitable for applications with a maximum operating voltage of 250 volts direct current (DC) and a maximum operating current of 4 amperes. This cord set also has a rotating coupling nut for increased vibration resistance. The coupling nut is made of zinc that has been epoxy-coated. The contacts of this assembly are made of gold over nickel-plated brass. This product is UL recognized and has also been certified by CSA. It is an IP69K/NEMA 6P rated assembly. This assembly is best suited to operate within temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to +105 degrees Celsius (-4 degrees Fahrenheit to +221 degrees Fahrenheit).
