Description:

1492-CABLE025Z is a pre-wired, digital interface, I/O module - ready and IFM - ready cable. It is used in panels to reduce control wiring and give a neat look to wiring. This cable has a standard length of 8.20 feet. It is suitable only for the ControlLogix modules from the 1756 bulletin that has 32-point digital and 16-point isolated I/O modules. It consists of 40 conductors and #22 AWG wire.

Allen Bradley's 1492-CABLE025Z belongs to Bulletin 1492 that contains pre-wired cables. This cable is designed to minimize the amount of control wiring in the panels. It also gives panels a consistent look. It also eradicates the costs and timings that are related to the tripping and cutting of wires. This pre-wired cable, when used with an IFM, can substitute the point-to-point wirings. Which are between individual terminal blocks and programmable controller I/O modules by Allen Bradley. 

This pre-wired cable consists of a removable terminal block, also known as a wiring arm, at the I/O (input/output) end of the cable. This terminal is used to connect with compatible digital I/O modules. It has a cable connector on the other side. This connector is used to attach this cable to the 40-terminal interface module (IFM). It features # 22 AWG wire and is 100% sampled for continuity to construct the flawless and ideal connection each and every time. This digital pre-wired cable is delivered with a standard length of 2.5 meters ( 8.20 feet). Keep the length of the wire in mind while selecting it for any application. It has 40 conductors. This cable is compatible with Allen Bradley's bulletin 1756 that has 32 points digital and 16 points isolated ControlLogix digital I/O modules.

It can be operated in the temperature range from 0 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees celsius and 5 % to 95 % of humidity. To store it, the allowed temperature range is -40 degrees celsius to +80 degrees celsius.
