The Allen-Bradley 1492-CABLE050Z is a pre-wired cable that connects Bulletin 1756 32-pin I/O modules to a host computer. The ControlLogix control systems included in the 1492-CABLE050Z cable share a similar control engine and development environment, allowing for great performance in a simple-to-use environment. Users may execute conventional and security control in the same chassis, resulting in an integrated system. Users can take advantage of the high availability and extreme-environment capabilities to suit the application requirements. This cable complies with the criteria of the CSA, KC, CCC, and CE.

With a voltage of 300 volts, this digital-type cable does have a permissible input voltage ranging from 110 to 240 VAC. Each digital input contains a total of 32 digital inputs, and the signal change delay period may range from 1 to 8 milliseconds. This cable has an input current of 2 milliamperes at signal 1, and there are no short-circuit safety outputs accessible on this cable. The physical dimensions of this cable measure 300 mm x 38.1 mm x 111.25 mm (height x width x depth).

The pre-wired cables and IFM wiring system modules arrange and offer a uniform appearance to the wiring in the panel. Field-wiring connections are cleanly identified by pre-printed sticky labels for the terminals, which match the I/O module address.
