The 1492-MCGAT230 unit is a Ground fault circuit breaker, also known as a GFCI circuit breaker, belonging to a 1492 series of breakers that are created to function as a Ground Fault Circuit Breaker. The Bulletin 1492 series of products are thermal-magnetic miniature circuit breakers that were designed for general purpose devices for most of the industrial, inverse time circuit breaker applications. The 1492-MCGAT230 unit, or the GFCI circuit breaker, is manufactured by Allen Bradley and the number of poles on the circuit breaker is two (2). The width per pole of this GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) at a five (5) milliampere (mA) sensitivity measures one (1) inch. Ten (10) kilo-amperes (kA) is the interrupt rating for the circuit breaker, whereas fifteen (15) amperes (A) is the amperage rating of the circuit breaker. One hundred and twenty (120) to two hundred and forty (240) volts alternating current (AC) is the rating for the voltage supply for the circuit breaker. 6-4 American Wire Gauge (AWG) Copper is the size of the conductor.
