The Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1606 XLP Compact Power Supply Series includes the Allen-Bradley 1606-XLP30E Switched Mode Power Supply. The 1606 XLP series has a plastic casing for the modules as well as cage clamp terminals for quick DIN installation and wiring. These modules also have increased efficiency and low inrush rating limiting capabilities. They also consist of auto-selecting input for broader input options. The 1606-XLP30E has a rated power factor of 0.53, and it is rated at 30 Watts at 240 Volts AC input. At 40 degrees Celsius, it has a normal operational efficiency of 87.5 percent and a 500,000 hours MBTF rating. The MOVs in the 1606-XLP30E Switched Mode Power Supply provide transient protection of up to 750 Volts for 1.3 milliseconds and have an inbuilt input fuse that cannot be accessed. The auto-ranging voltage input of this module allows for a wide operating voltage range. It accepts input voltages ranging from 100 up to 240 volts AC, as well as 110 to 300 volts DC. The 1606-XLP30E, moreover, has a maximum inrush current of 35.0 Amps and a rated input current of 0.6 Amps at 100 Volts AC. Overload protection (without an overload switch), shorted circuit protection, open-circuit protection, and status LEDs for verifying device status are all built-in features. With unscreened output cables, the radiated EMI values are kept below the EN50081-I norms. The functioning of the module is displayed on the front of the module through the operation indicator. The module's operation temperature ranges from -10 to 70 degrees Celsius, while the storage/transport temperature ranges from -25 to 85 degrees Celsius.
