Description:

A redundancy module is included in the Allen-Bradley Bulletin produced 1606-XLS 1606-XLSRED module. This redundancy unit is suitable for industrial redundancy solutions with a 1 + 1 or N + 1 configuration. The 1606-XLSRED redundancy device has two input channels that can be linked to a power supply rated at ten amps and one output channel that also can withstand nominal current ratings of a maximum of 20 amperes. Unlike other redundancy modules, the 1606-XLSRED does not have monitoring circuitry. The 1606-XLSRED redundancy module accepts input voltages between 24 and 28 volts of direct current.

Allen Bradley's 1606-XLSRED switched-mode power supply runs from 24 – 60 Volts AC input voltage and has a maximum power output of 480 Watts. Allen-Bradley switched-mode power systems are well-known for their high performance and efficiency. The 1606-XLSRED power source is CE-certified. It's indeed part of Allen-Bradley's XLS performance line and satisfies both single and three-phase application needs. It has a power increase of a maximum of 150 percent, allowing it to manage starting demands. The power supply 1606-XLSRED has a buffer that may offer a boosting function, buffer load current during main faults, switching events, and peak loads. The gadget is developed in a small manner, which saves a significant amount of panel area. The rated output current of the gadget is 20 amps. The gadget must not be exposed to hazardous places during installation. The 1606-XLSRED power supply ought to be put in a clean, dry environment with no electromagnetic noise.
