Part number 2707-MVH232 was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This device is a MicroView operator interface module. Designed with an RS-232 port for point-to-point connection with a controller, this device provides non-volatile memory for storage of operating system and configuration information, as well as modification of blocks of data with the capability of storing up to 50 application screens. This device is compact in size, provides fixed display screen contrast, comes with flexible function keys, point-access/ display function, an 8-pin mini-DIN connector communication port, and configured using the RS-232 channel together with a 24 volts DC power supply connector. Its keypad has each key configured with a raised dome in the centre for providing tactile feedback while the keys are grouped by functions using color separation. With the function keys, F1 and F2 colored blue, its display/format control keys are dark grey, and its numeric entry keys are light grey.

Allen Bradley’s 2707-MVH232 supports upload and download of programs and configuration data to and from the MicroLogix controller, as well as from PC for visualization and storage. Its com-port has a baud rate of 9600 and 8 data bits. This device can display five (5) screen types: menu screen, sub-menu screen, security data display, data entry, and recipe screens. This device’s keypad has a rated 453 grams of operating force, as well as an operation lifespan of 1 million operations. This device has an operating temperature that should range from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius, with a relative humidity of 5 to 95 percent while also being non-condensing.
