The Allen-Bradley 700-HLS1Z24 is a general-purpose terminal block relay. The general-purpose terminal block relay is equipped with a Touch Safe Terminal Construction. The 1-pole relay works on DC actuation and has a rated control supply voltage of 24 V DC and thermal current rating of 6 A. The relay has an SPDT output with one (1) normally open (NO) solid-state contact. It has 6mm SSR DC outputs with standard silver contacts and contact ratings of 12 V, 6 mA (72 mW) for silver contacts. The relay has a nominal current of 2 A and a DC power consumption of 0.2 W. The relay, however, does not include a current suppression circuit. The relay is equipped with screw type electrical plug connections supporting conductor sizes of #26 to #14 AWG. It is designed with screw-type, as well as spring-clamp, terminal bases It is not equipped with LED indicators or a socket.
The relay has an enclosure rating of IP67 and is constructed using a molded high dielectric insulating material. It has a protection rating of IP20 and is certified to operate in hazardous locations. It is designed to have a mechanical life that lasts 10,000,000 operations. The relay can be operated up to a height of 2000 m without possible de-rating. It is designed for operational temperature range of –40 to +55 °C and can be adequately stored in a temperature range of –40 to +100 °C. It is cULus, cURus, RINA, ABS, and CE certified for all applicable directives. The relay has physical dimensions that measure 88 mm x 76 mm x 6.2 mm. Additional features of the relay include externally replaceable modules, a built-in retainer clip, and a snap-in marker lever.
