The Allen-Bradley 1391B-AA22 is an alternating current (AC) Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) Servo Controller for controlling and maintaining both speed and torque of a servo motor within a closed-loop positioning system. This controller offers a space-efficient design and can be used within a computer-aided positioning system to maintain and adjust the position motion (either linear or rotary) of components within such an automated system. The nominal bus AC output voltage of the Allen-Bradley 1391B-AA22 is 300V. This controller features a continuous output current of 22.5 Amperes (A) and a peak output current of 45A. The Allen-Bradley 1391B-AA22 boasts output power of 7.5 kilowatts (kW) and peak output power of 15 kilowatts.
The modulated frequency range of this servo controller (plus or minus 10%) is 2.5 kilohertz (KHz) while the peak output current can be adjusted as necessary within the range of 20% to 200% of the motor current rating, up to a maximum of 90A. The circuit breaker rating of the Allen-Bradley 1391B-AA22 is a total of 26A root mean square (RMS), the maximum interrupt current of this breaker is a symmetrical 1,300A. This servo controller offers excellent minimum load controller efficiency at 85%. The Allen-Bradley 1391B-AA22 has an included heatsink fan which offers air movement of 50 cubic feet per minute (CFM). Also included is a full-load DC power supply unit (PSU) of 300V. The transformer in this PSU yields AC 3-phase power at 230 Volts with a frequency of 50 Hertz - 60 Hertz and an input tolerace range of plus 10% to minus 15%. The control input voltage is single-phase AC at 35.5 Volts.
