The GE Fanuc Emerson IC670MDL240 is an input module that includes sixteen (16) input points that support a voltage rating range from 0 Volts AC to 132 Volts AC at a frequency range from 47 to 63 Hertz. The module inputs are grouped into a single well-isolated group of sixteen (16) inputs that are labeled with green LED indicators to show the on/off status of inputs with a single common power terminal. This module employs the backplane optical isolation offered by optocouplers to provide electrical isolation of 250 Volts AC continuously between logic and field sides and 1500 Volts AC for one minute. The IC670MDL240 can be easily mounted in any input or output slots of the Field Control system. The input module provides an on response time of 12 milliseconds and an off response time of 25 milliseconds.

The IC670MDL240 employs an input data of 16 bits to communicate with the CPU. This module draws a current of 77 milliamperes at a backplane voltage of 5 Volts DC.
