The IC610CPU105 by GE Fanuc Automation is a Series one plus central processing unit (CPU). The CPU has a memory capacity of 700 words along with 2 EEPROM non-volatile storage units. This memory can be further expanded to 1724 words. It operates at a rated voltage of 115 to 230 volts AC and frequency of 47 to 63 hertz. The IC610CPU105 CPU is compatible with Plus controllers from the same series and supports operations with 168 I/O points. A series one plus CPU is designed to process user given instructions via a scanning program that has a typical duration of 8 milliseconds for a 0.5k word program

The GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU105 CPU unit is equipped with a Lithium-Ion battery for back-up and internal operations including non-retentive, retentive, special, and timer related functions. The battery is replaceable, and the CPU unit should only be used with the GE Fanuc IC610ACC150A 3-volt PLC programmable logic controller battery. The CPU also enables the controller to be interfaced with up to 3 thumb-wheel interface modules. It is designed with a data communications unit, called the CCM105 communications unit and an RS-232/422 adapter unit. The CPU can also be connected to peripheral devices and various compatible input/output devices using different I/O modules. Additional features of the CPU include shift registers, timers, counters, sequencers, data registers functions, portable programmers and personal password security. A high-speed counter can also be interfaced with the CPU unit for diverse applications and needs to be connected to the CPU via an I/O module. The CPU unit is compact and weighs around 0.61 kg.
