The IC600CB525 is an advanced logic control module known as the control board module. It is designed and manufactured by Emerson - GE Fanuc. This logic control module provides a serial data link between a PLC controller's CPU and a range of other devices. For example, for PLC-6, devices such as CCM2, 3, and I/O CCM are compatible with this advanced control module. Likewise, the data communications unit (DCU) is available for Series One and One Plus of the PLC. In addition, for PLC 3, a data communications module (DCM) fits this product. It has two (2) serial ports that users can control independently. RS-232 and RS-422 serial interfaces are compatible with this module on both ports. These ports offer asynchronous communications with data speeds of up to 19.2 Kbps.

On the other hand, the DIP switches are also available to select their independent requirements. The data rate ranges from 110 to 19.2 kilobits per second (Kbps). For the present loop operation on port 1, the highest transmission rate is 4800 Kilobits per second (Kbps). In addition, this logic control module supports master and slave protocol. This module is also fitted with the CCM mode. RTU slave mode for the remote terminal unit (RTU) is also functional on this module. Even more unusual, there is no parity. It only requires two (2) ports with a turn-around delay of zero (0) to five hundred (500) milliseconds. In brief, this device is a reliable product that has a durable design and high performing applications.
