The GE Fanuc Emerson IC660BBD022 is a source I/O block that provides sixteen (16) channels which support DC power supply with an output current of 2 Amperes per circuit. The device supports an input voltage of 24 Volts DC. This block supports an input voltage range from 18 to 30 Volts DC. The unit is employed with 2-wire and 3-wire electromechanical and solid-state sensors. The sixteen (16) circuits can be configured as a tristate input, input, or output. The IC660BBD022 supports both right-facing up and down installation employing either two bolt holes or screws. The device offers output hold last state or power-up defaults features. This block can be installed in an enclosure to protect the internal circuitry by leaving an amount space of 5.08 centimeters (2 inches) from all orientations for heat dissipation.

The IC660BBD022 offers the failed switch detection feature and detects the open wire issue in tristate inputs. The device detects and automatically offers input and output no-load, overtemperature, overload, and electronic short circuit protection and shuts down immediately. The block provides continuous electrical isolation of 1500 Volts DC between blocks for one minute. The IC660BBD022 dissipates an electrical power of 68.8 Watts and has LED indicators for I/O block and each circuit. The IC660BBD022 offers the output test feature and a selectable input time filter from 5 milliseconds to 100 milliseconds.
