The GE Fanuc IC660BLM506 Genius I/O bus terminator comes with an embedded resistor. The integrated resistor has a rating of around 150 ohms. There are four different connection points on this GE Fanuc device. Installing the proper terminating resistor takes only a few seconds. Part number IC660BLM506 can be installed for devices on either end of the bus. For use in low frequencies, this terminator can be paired with cable shields.

Part number IC660BLM506 is a Genius I/O bus terminating resistor. This module features a 150-ohm capacity and four (4) connecting ports. Both Serial 1 & 2 terminals are supported by this Genius Input/Output terminator. It works with traditional bus cables. If users can't get their hands on bus cables, they can also use pre-molded connector cables with this module. The terminating plug on the modules is a two (2) pound premade connector. This premade connector is commonly linked to the female end of the connector cable.

Genius I/O is self-contained. This I/O module is a highly flexible, and simple-to-install I/O block. It features isolated circuits with dedicated LED indicators. These LED indicators lights are situated on the block's front. The frequency of operation is fifty (50) to sixty (60) hertz (Hz). It is important that this device be placed somewhere away from water or away from anywhere it could get wet as it is not water resistant.

EMC noise also affects the terminating plug on this module. A terminal and one electronics assembly make up the Genius I/O terminator block that houses it. The terminal assembly serves as the I/O block's fundamental foundation. This bus terminator can be mechanically and electrically keyed. It can accept a variety of current and voltage levels as well as wire configurations.

Capacitor termination is used on the 150-ohm IC660BLM506 Bus terminating resistor. This terminator helps with decreasing the noise caused by high-frequency pickups and loop currents. The IC660BLM506 Bus terminating resistor makes use of cable shields made for low frequencies.
