The ST2744 is an RSTi digital output module manufactured by GE Fanuc. This is a four (4) point low density module that consists of a voltage rating of two hundred and thirty (230) volts alternating current (AC) or twenty-four (24) volts direct current (DC). This module by GE Fanuc offers the users faster control and a high level of performance when compared to the traditional bus fields. With the advanced and innovative diagnostics functionality, it aids in significantly reducing downtime through RSTi and controller diagnostics by easily, and adeptly, detecting any I/O or network errors. The device contains a granular design and distributed I/O networks. These aspects not only aid in bringing down the wiring and installation cost, but they also aid in reducing the overall cost per point. In addition to that, this module also incorporates a simplified design for expansion that is performed without impacting the wire along with a simplified system which allows for a lowered machine commission by cutting down on the removal and reassemble time. Moreover, this module by GE Fanuc incorporates an innovative locking functionality that enables the module to be perfectly fitted on the DIN rail. In addition to that, this GE Fanuc unit also incorporates an inbuilt slide and lock mechanism for a secured the device to device connection. Furthermore, the ST-2744 output device incorporates a removable terminal block that allows for it to be easily installed and maintained. In addition to that, on the terminal block, there are also additional test points that enable seamless troubleshooting.
