The ST-3134, which was designed and manufactured by Emerson - GE Fanuc, is an additional RSTi analog input module. This module has 4 single-ended channels of analog inputs and an input current that ranges from 0 to 20 milliamperes. It has a resolution of 14 bits that has a range of14 bits : 1.22 uA/Bit. There are 5 indicators on the module and 4 of them are just a Green/Red status indicator. The remaining indicator is for the Green/Red Fn-BUS state. The data is formatted in a 16 bit integer format with a 2’s complement. There is a +/- 0.1% full scale error possible at the temperature of 25°C and an error of +/- 0.3% is possible at 0° or 60°C (full scale). The input impedance rating of this device is 120 ohms. There is no calibration requirement for this module and the conversion time is 4 milliseconds. The common type for this device is 4 channels of 2COM (single common). The power supply is a simple system power DC/DC. The maximum power dissipation rating of this device is 165 milliamperes at five (5) volts DC (direct current). From the I/O of the module to the Logic, there is an optocoupler isolation. The I/O cable extends to be a 2.0-meter wire. There are eight (8) pins on the module. For pins 0 to 3, there are four (4) input channels. For the pin numbers 4 and 5, they both are the input channel common with 0 volts. Pins 6 and 7 are the chassis ground /shield. This module has an approximate weight of 70 grams. The physical dimensions of this device measure 12 mm 99 mm x 70 mm.
