The GE Fanuc Emerson IC694ALG222 is an analog voltage input module that can be employed in many industrial applications. This module provides sixteen single-ended or eight differential voltage inputs that can convert an analog signal to a discrete signal with a resolution of 12 bits. These inputs support an input voltage range from either -10 volts DC to 10 volts DC or 0 volts DC to 10 volts DC. This module draws a current of 112 milliamperes at a voltage of +5 volts DC and 41 milliamperes at a voltage of +24 volts DC. The IC694ALG222 has two green LED indicators on the faceplate to provide the diagnostic feature and show the current status, power, and user power state of this module. The module provides analog input data of 16 bits. The inputs can be programmed and configured to select the appropriate voltage range according to the application. The IC694ALG222 can be easily mounted in a terminal, compact terminal, or connector-style I/O by employing an auxiliary I/O terminal.

The IC694ALG222 has an input impedance of 500 kiloohms and detects field power loss and open wires for each channel. The input module provides an accuracy of ± 10.25 percent at 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit ) and ± 0.5 percent maximum of full scale. The IC694ALG222 offers an updated data rate of 6 milliseconds and employs the backplane optical isolation provided by optocouplers to offer electrical isolation of 250 volts AC continuously and 1500 volts AC for one minute between logic and frame ground. The IC694ALG222 weighs approximately 290 grams (0.63 pounds) while shipping and operates at 0 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius (32 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for industrial applications.

The IC694ALG222 is a 16-channel analog input module made by GE Fanuc. This input module has 16 single-ended input channels or 8 differential input channels. On the IC694ALG222 input module, each input channel may be set to 0 to 10 Volts or -10 to +10 Volts. The factory calibration is 2.5 millivolts per count for the 0 to 10 Volts input range and 5 millivolts per count for the -10 to 10 Volts input range. The field-to-backplane isolation voltage is AC 250 volts indefinitely and Alternative Current 1500 volts for one minute. Cross-channel rejection is rated at more than 80 dB The IC694ALG222 input module's rated input impedance in single-ended mode is larger than 500 kiloohms. The IC694ALG222 input module's internal power consumption is 112 milliamperes (maximum) at 5 Volts DC, and from the backplane at 24 Volts DC isolated voltage, it is 41 milliamperes (maximum). When placed on an RX3i backplane, a 24 Volt (DC) external power supply is advised to drive the IC694ALG222 input module. External power must have been connected to the TB1 connector on the left side of the rack backplane. When the IC694ALG222 input module is installed in an expansion rack, the module is powered by the backplane's power source. During powerup, a "Module OK" LED indicates the module's status. When the internal 5 Volt DC power supply exceeds the minimal threshold, the "Module P/S" LED illuminates.
