The IC694ALG442 is an Analog Current/Voltage Input/Output module designed for Rx3i PacSystems. It provides four (4) different input channels and two (2) output channels. All the channels of the module can be configured through Machine Edition software in these ranges: unipolar (0 to +10), bipolar (-10 to +10), 0 to 20 milliamperes, and 4 to 20 milliamperes. The unipolar range 0 to +10 is the default setting for the system will be set automatically when installed unless it is changed manually. In higher modes, the input channels of the module can be configured to the range: 4 to 20 milliamperes. The module can be installed in any of the I/O slots in the Rx3i system. The users can configure various outputs of the module. If the power of the system is interrupted or is reset to the low end of the given series, the module reaches the Hold Last State. Using the applicable program, the outputs can be configured to run in ramp mode using the appropriate command. Also, high and low alarm ranges can be set for the input channels with an open wire fault.
The IC694ALG442 module is required to be connected with a 24 Volts DC power from an external source for use. If the module is used with the Rx3i Universal backplane, the external power source can be connected through the TB1 connector present at the left side of the backplane of the Rx3i system. You can also choose to connect the terminal block of the module directly. When using the backplane, the external power source should be connected to the module’s terminal block. The resolution is based on the output range or the configured input.
