The IC694MDL740 is a 16-Point Output Module manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation as a member of GE Fanuc RX3i PACSystems Series of modules. This 12/24 Volt DC Positive Logic Output Module can be connected to the RX3i PACSystems Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems. The IC694MDL740 Output Module has 16 output points that are arranged into two (2) groups, each containing eight (8) output points each. Each module has a separate LED indicator that turns on when the corresponding output point is powered on. The IC694MDL740 is a positive logic output module that only requires a voltage of 5 Volts DC. When the module is installed in the RX3i PACSystems programmable logic controller, the module draws the power required for its operation from the backplane where it is installed. The module requires only 5 Volts DC from the backplane bus for operations and draws 110 milliamperes of current from the backplane.

The IC694MDL740 Positive Logic Output Module is a low voltage module. It has a blue label indicating it as a low voltage module. The IC694MDL740 output module should only be used with low voltage devices as high voltage devices can cause damage to the module or devices, or the module will be unable to communicate or function with high voltage devices. The operating voltage range of the IC694MDL740 output module is from 12 Volts to 24 Volts DC. The isolation voltage rating of the module is 250 Volts AC for continuous isolation. However, this isolation voltage can reach up to 1500 Volts AC for one minute. The module can be mounted on any I/O slot in the rack within the RX3i PLC.
