A member of the GE Fanuc RX3i PacSystem I/O module family, the IC694MDL753 is a positive logic output module. This module has an output voltage of 12 to 24 volts direct current. This device renders thirty-two (32) specified outputs in four (4) distinct separated groups of eight (8). Each group features a dedicated common. The outputs are either sourcing outputs or positive logic types. There is an output load switch on this module. It can supply the power to the load.
The outputs have a switching range of +12 to +24 volts direct current (DC) and can generate a maximum current of 0.5 amperes per point. Each group common is represented by two (2) pins on the Input/Output connections. The current handling capacity of each pin is three (3) amperes. When connecting the common, it is recommended that both pins be connected different loads can be driven by each group. This device has physical dimensions that measure 34 mm x 145 mm x 140 mm. Additionally, this product can be mounted using a panel or a DIN rail.
The user must provide the necessary power to supply current to the loads. In order to give gate drive to the output devices, the module also pulls a small amount of power from the user supply. Optocouplers on the module enable backplane isolation between the field and logic sides. When the CPU is turned off, all 32 outputs are turned off. Unfortunately, there are no particular diagnostics for faults or alarms recorded. Each output's ON/OFF status is shown by a numbered LED.
