The IC695ETM001 Ethernet transmitter module is a member of GE Fanuc's RX3i PacSystem series of products. This item was created to allow controllers from the PacSystem series to establish communication with controllers from the VersaMax, or the Series 90-30. The communication is established via the Ethernet networks. It has an Ethernet interface with a 10/100 megabytes per second speed and the ability to detect the speed and cable attached. At 10 Mbps, a pair of wires up to 100 meters are used for establishing connections with network nodes.

Additionally, for establishing a connection that supports data transfer at 100 megabytes per second, it should be paired with a Category 5 (100-meter) twisted-pair cable. The Ethernet port on the IC695ETM001 Ethernet interface facilitates both half and full-duplex nodes. Additionally, network connections can be made via both crossover & straight-through Ethernet cables. One MAC address and one IP address are supported by this Ethernet interface module. It includes an inbuilt Ethernet switch that allows Ethernet nodes to be daisy-chained together.

An RS-232 serial connection is another prominent feature of the GE Fanuc IC695ETM001 PacSystem interface module. The data rates supported by the IC695ETM001 interface module range from 1200 to 115,200 bits per second. It comes with a built-in station manager that may be accessed by Ethernet or Serial interfaces, as well as supervisory access. Commands for operating and polling the station, password security, and accessing monitoring logs, configuration parameters, and statistics are just a few of the features provided by the station manager function.
