The C693APU302 is a configurable two-axis motion control module for the Series 90-30 PLC. The Motion Mate APM is a straightforward smart APM that allows a PLC user to combine high-level control and PLC logic resolution features in a single device. In addition, the APM has two distinct functions/modes: the standard model and the follower mode. When the APM uses standard mode, it integrates high-performance motion control with PLC logic solving capabilities into a single integrated system. When APM uses the follower mode, it provides high-performance electronic gearing for continuous master/slave applications. In addition to these two modes, it has a servo loop feature that updates the system at the time of 2ms. Besides that, the model uses the VersaPro software tool's version number 1.1 or later, and the connector types compatible with this model are 24-pin High Density, 25-pin D Type. Since the Series 90-30 and the APM work together as a single motion control system. As a result, specifying a setup parameter in the configuration tool simplifies selecting the user's preferred mode. The APM controls axis motion and handles all direct contacts with the drive and machine, while the PLC constantly transfers data between PLC tables and the APM. Moreover, the PLC also allows for the connection of Operator interfaces, which can control and monitor the system's operation. This model is also capable of helping users with the commands such as velocity, forward, move, and acceleration/deceleration. The model requires 800milliAmps of current at +5 Volts DC voltage for internal power consumption.
