The IC695FTB001 is an I/O Fiber Terminal Block. It enables PACmotion controllers to link remote I/O devices with a fiber wire. Moreover, the optic fiber has a maximum cable length of 100 meters. It is also DIL rail mounted, and it features an interface that uses a unique ID for each PMM/FTB pair to keep cross-connection. It has power requirements that range from 19.2 VDC to 28.8 VDC or 0.45 Amps @ 24 V. The module also features eight optically isolated 24V outputs with a source and an open load & short detection. It also has two groups of 4; 0.5amps max per point; 4amps max per group. The number of outputs at 24 V is eight, and the number of general-purpose inputs at 24v is 16. Similarly, the number of differential inputs/outputs at 5 V is four and at 5V is 8. The value for the number of analog inputs for this Fiber Block is 2 (+/-10 Volts differential). In contrast, the number of analog outputs has a value of 2 (+/-10 Volts single-ended). In addition, it features a quad encoder open circuit detection. So, the users can assign I/O functions during the configuration of the hardware. Furthermore, the terminal block on the module has a digital overload protection system with a 0.5 amp max. The module can also help accommodate up to 5 additional encoders without marker or four encoders with marker pulse. A few real-time applications of this module include high-speed printing, packaging systems and high-speed assembly.
