The IC697CPU781 is a 16 Megahertz, 32-Bit, Expandable Central Processing Unit (CPU) by GE Fanuc. It serves as a single-slot CPU and can support 12K inputs and outputs. The IC697CPU781 can also support up to 8K analog I/O and requires 0.4 microseconds per Boolean function. It contains a 16 Megahertz, 80386DX microprocessor and supports IC660/IC661 and IC697I/O products. The software used to program the system is MS-DOS or Windows software with either Windows 95 or Windows NT. This CPU supports up to 512 Kilobytes of battery-backed expansion memory in the same slot. Additional features of this IC697CPU781 CPU include configurable program and data memory, a battery-backed calendar clock, a three-position operation mode switch, password-controlled access, and four status LEDs.
