The IC697MDL750 is a 24/48 Volt DC Discrete Output Module that is manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation for Series 90-70 PLC modules. This module provides thirty-two (32) output points in four (4) isolated groups, each comprised of eight (8) points each. This discrete output module can convert a potentially high influx of input into the desired output. The module hosts 32 output channels sorted into four (4) fused groups of eight (8) points each. Each output point is rated at 24/48 Volts and a current of 0.5 Amperes. All four groups have an overall capacity of 2 Amperes after allowing dissipation. Depending on the rating and usage time, the module has the ability to direct large input currents. The IC697MDL750 module’s output current can be used to power solenoids, indicators, motor starters, and other such devices.

The LED indicator on the top of the module indicates the conditions prevalent at different locations on the logic circuit. The module also indicates the on and off states of the output points through LED indicators. The module has a mechanical switch, which is included in the packaging. The key should be used for altering the specifications of the slot of the module. The customization option in the slot is provided to avoid improper usage of the module. During the initial installation of the IC697MDL750, the key is affixed and remains in the position during the subsequent removal of the module. However, if the need arises, this can be easily uninstalled. Several features of this module are subject to configuration. One such feature is the customization of the input and output references of the module using a personal computer running MS-DOS or Windows. The process of configuration of the module is completed through an SNP port or Ethernet TCP/IP.
