The VersaMax IC200CHS111 is the main part of a relay-style interposing I/O terminal. The dry contacts on the IC200CHS111 base could indeed switch up to 8 A of power. For the IC200CHS111 base to work, it needs to be connected to a VersaMax output module that can handle 24 VDC and 0.5 A, like the IC200MDL740 and IC200MDL750. Every relay on the IC200CHS111 base can be fused and replaced on its own. There are two types of relay-style terminals that can be used to connect input and outputs: the main base and the extension base. Use the base with points 1–16 of the 32-point IC200MDL750 or 16-point IC200MDL740 modules to connect them. The IC200CHS111 platform has 50 box-style connections that can be used to connect power and other things in your home or outside. The J1 wire connects to another wire that comes from the IC200CHS003 plug carrier, which connects to the base. The IC200CHS111 base also includes a J2 connector that can be used to connect to the expansion base, the IC200CHS112 base. IC200CHS111 needs a power source with 24 VDC to power the relay coils on its base. In this case, it is connected to A17 and A18. External power is needed to run the loads that the users want to run. To make the base of the IC200CHS111, a field-replaceable relay must meet the following rules: It can handle 9 A of load, 8 A of load at 30 VDC, 6 A of load at 250 VAC, or 4 A of load at 30 VDC. It can also handle a peak switching current rating of 8 A, a carry rated current of 8 A, and a minimum load of 100 mA at 30 VDC.
