The IC200MDL330 is a Discrete Output Module that is manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation and belongs to the VersaMax Series product line. This discrete output module provides sixteen (16) isolated output points and sends control signals to various devices like interposing relays, contractors, and indicator lamps. The IC200MDL330 requires an external power supply and a carrier base IC200CHSXXX device. The power supply will provide a voltage of 120 Volts AC and can take care of switching power to loads. A CPU or NIU is used for performing all the intelligent processes. Each output point has an individual logic-driven green LED to indicate the status of the output points. These LED indicators are independent of the load conditions. The OK LED turns ON when backplane power is applied to the module.

When wiring the outputs of the IC200MDL330 to inductive loads, it is recommended to use external suppression circuits. During thermal derating, the number of output points that can remain ON at the same time depends on various factors such as ambient temperature, external voltage, orientation of the DIN rail, and the IC200MDL330 module. The user input to logic and frame ground isolation is 250 Volts AC continuous and 1500 Volts AC for one minute. The module also has a group to group isolation of 250 Volts AC continuous and 1500 Volts AC for one minute. The backplane current consumption of the module at 5 Volts output is a maximum of 140 milliamperes. The output voltage is 85 Volts to 132 Volts AC and the output voltage drop is a maximum of 2 Volts.
