The 1305-BA04A-HA2 by Allen Bradley is a VSD from the 1305 Bulletin series. This drive is very useful in applications involving industrial motors. This drive has an HMI and also has a handheld function for programming. There are four stopping modes. The first mode is ramp to stop. The stopping time in this mode is from 0.1 to 3600 s. The second mode is coast mode. This mode stops PWM output. The third mode is DC brake to stop, in which DC voltage is applied for 0 to 150 s. Then there is the S curve function mode, which uses S curve profile for stopping. Like other 1205 drives, this drive also has an IP30 (NEMA 1) enclosure. There are various protection features included in this drive. These include temperature surges and short circuits protection. The drive is compact having dimensions of 170 x 195 x 179 mm. This variable speed drive has an input voltage of 380-460 VAC, three-phase. The output voltage in this drive is adjustable. The output current is 4 A with 50 to 60 Hz input frequency. The output frequency can also be adjusted between 0 to 400 Hz. The power rating of the motor is 1.5 kW, and the dissipation is 52 W. The input kVA is 3.1. The efficiency is 97.5 %, with 0.8 lagging displacements. The highest reading of ScanPort load can be 250 mA. These drives need to be installed by following proper installation protocol. Failing to do so will result in damage.
