Part number 1321-3R80-B from the 1321 reactor series has a rated current of 80 amperes. It is a widely used reactor that has a rated three-phase voltage of 600 to 690 volts AC. These reactors have different applications and can be used at the input of a drive, at the output of a drive, with multiple drives, with multiple motors, and with single phase inputs. The basic purpose is to make sure that the drive never shuts down due to any anomaly in operation. This line reactor has an input impedance that has a value between 3% to 5% and has an ambient temperature of 50 degrees Celsius due to the open style enclosure. In case of overvoltage condition, these reactors help to protect the equipment. For installing this reactor, installation guidelines are given and should be followed. Spurious tripping can cause damage to the drive and, therefore, these reactors are present to prevent it. For this reason, harmonic compensation is catered in this reactor. It has a built-in insulation system that is rated at Class N with a temperature rating of 200 °C. The running frequency is between 50 to 60 hertz. Different agency approvals are also provided as this reactor is in accordance with electrical standards. The inductance curve shows different results at different values of current. For 100% current, the inductance curve is 100%, while for 350% current, it is 50%. The switching frequency for the 1321-3R80-B is 20 kHz. This device was designed to be operated at altitudes of up to, but not exceeding, 1000 meters.
