The 1336-BDB-SP79D is a gate driver board that is positioned between the main control board and the chassis of the drive to receive low power input signals from the control unit. The gate driver board receives low power input signals from the control module and amplifies the received low power input signals to high-level power signals for IGBT switching device. It is a substitute unit for the F-frame 1336 FORCE, PLUSII, FORCE, PLUS, and IMPACT drives with each enclosure rating. It is manufactured for circuits with 575 Volts AC and for 1336 PLUS II, FORCE, IMPACT, and PLUS drive with an overall output power rating of 400 horsepower. The gate driver board is placed between the main control board and the main chassis. It is mounted on a gate driver mounting plate.

This gate driver board is positioned on the gate driver mounting plate by using eight (8) factory provided standoff screws that are attached in a clockwise direction. Multiple jumper connectors from J2 to J13 are available on the gate driver board that helps to complete the circuit connection between connectors on the surface of the board. The contact terminals are also provided for the high voltage auxiliary input and TB20 and TB21 terminals are present for connection to the control module. The first power to the drive should be turned off for installing this board on the gate driver mounting plate. Supplied standoff screws fastened in ¼ clockwise direction are used for attaching the new gate driver board to the mounting plate. Jumper connectors are attached to the board surface and then to the auxiliary input terminal.
