The 1336-FAN-SP6B is a heat-sink fan for Allen-Bradley adjustable frequency AC drives Impact, Force, 1336 Plus, and Plus II. The fan has a horsepower rating of 250 Hp to 450 Hp.  The correct operation of the drive necessitates the use of cooling fans. Electromagnetic interference shielding is required for fans and air intake apertures. Furthermore, a positive electrical link between the housing and the filter (including the brackets), fans, and drives must be maintained. Any paint around all mounting locations must be removed to ensure a solid electrical connection. Auxiliary input TB4 is used to provide power to this item. Frame F frequency drivers are compatible with the 1336-FAN-SP6B. The temperature of the drive is expected to grow during regular operation. However, if the heat-sink temperature rises above 90 degrees Celsius, the system will generate an excessive temperature fault, warning the user that the system may be harmed. This problem could be caused by obstructed ventilation caused by a clogged or dirty heat-sink fan. To prevent the drive from overheating, proper cooling must be supplied right away. If the requisite amount of cooling cannot be maintained, the drive must be de-rated in order to assure proper operation. While the 1336-FAN-SP6B is designed to be simple to install, it is suggested that this crucial component be installed by an Allen-Bradley technician. On the 1336 drive chassis, the heat-sink fan is installed in the lower-left corner. Before installing the unit, make sure that the drive is detached and not powered. If the drive voltage differs from the fan voltage, a transformer tap may be employed.
