The 1336-L5 +24 Volts AC/DC interface board is designed for the 1336 adjustable AC drives. The Board is designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It allows users to interact with the adjustable drives through a variety of commands and functions. The board has 9 control inputs and runs on 24 Volts AC/DC. This board also works properly with a circuit capable of generating no more than 8 Volts DC or 10 Volts AC and 1.5 or 2.5 milliamperes in the low state, and a voltage range of +20 to +26 Volts AC in the high state, with a source current of 10 milliamperes for each input. The circuits used with Option L5/L5E must be capable of operating with high = true logic. Both AC and DC external circuits in the high state must generate a voltage of +20 to +26 volts and source a current of approximately 10 milliamperes for each input. The 1336-L5 may be used to program different drive commands and functions, including two drive accelerate or decelerate control inputs that let users set the drive's acceleration and deceleration timings. The 1336-L5 may also be used for local control, which allows users to have complete control over the drive logic, and it can also help control the Forward and Reverse function, which regulates reverse and forward direction operation. This board can also control additional drive operations such as Enable, Flux Enable, Jog, Digital Potentiometer, Ramp, Reset, and Start. The 1336-L5 is placed on the main control board at pins 2 and 3, as well as pins 17 and 18 of the J1 jumper, and it is compatible with the 1771-OB, -OBB, -OBD, -OBN, and –OQ16 PLC modules.
