The 1336-R1-SP3A is a snubber resistor by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation. It is a part made for the 1336 series of products. This module supports the adjustable frequency drives, especially those that have a G frame. This snubber transistor has an input power range of 575 volts and its horsepower rating is 50 to 60 Hp (horsepower). The compatible AC drives require six (6) kit resistors for each module. It is specially designed for the 1336 Plus, Plus 2, Impact, and Force series that feature AC drives for motor-related operations. The top feature of this spare part is supplying power to several internal components within the drive assembly. In addition, it helps enhance the performance of the drives and extends their functionality. Furthermore, all drives are equipped with the correct number of this part, which is necessary for the drive's operation. This component is a substitute for a power module that has expired. When configuring this snubber resistor, users should ensure that only skilled workers are performing this hardware installation. Furthermore, because these drives use capacitors to store voltage for a short amount of time, it is critical to tread cautiously. Before configuring the power module to the drive, users should also ensure that the bus voltage is correctly drained. In order to maintain safety, this replacement part should be replaced when the drive is turned off. Also, the packaging, storage, processing, and operation of this part must be carried out following manufacturers' guidelines. Unfortunately though, this product, as well as the entire 1336 drive range, has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
