The Allen-Bradley 1336-WB110 is a dynamic brake chopper made for the 1336 drives. Rockwell Automation is the manufacturer of this module, and it is compatible with the 1336 Plus, Plus II, Force, and Impact series of products, which provide adjustable frequency drives for a variety of industrial motor control applications. When it comes to power requirements, this module's voltage rating spans from 380 volts AC to 415-460 volts AC. Furthermore, this module's current rating is 750 volts DC (direct current). In addition, the IGBT-enabled dynamic braking chopper functionality is included with the module by the manufacturer. Furthermore, this Allen-Bradley dynamic braking chopper is a TTL compatible module that supports f1 and f2 size fuses. The principal role of this type of module, aside from its compatibility with IGBT and TTL features, is to offer good braking torque for its compatible devices. The chopper connects the brake resistor across the link when the DC link voltage exceeds a specified threshold, wasting the additional energy in the brake resistor. The temperature that is most suitable for this device to be operational is -10 to 40 degrees Celsius, while the temperature suitable for this device to be stored is -40 to 70 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the relative humidity of the area should be non-condensing and range from 5% to 95%. It can also accommodate a wide range of changeable frequency drives, making it a versatile solution for dynamic braking in a typical industrial context to improve torque and other technical features. It's also suitable for use in heavy-duty situations.
